Partnering with Buddhists and Homosexuals in Areas of Social Justice
I came across these two stories today about horrific injustices done to both Buddhist monks in Myanmar and homosexuals in Iran.
My first thought was, “What the $%^* is wrong with this world?”
Then the obvious struck me: Human dignity and hope is beyond borders, beliefs, and cultures.
And evil holds no particular discrimination.
Revolution supports organizations that work toward justice concerning persecuted Christians around the world, and I wholeheartedly recommend “International Justice Mission” which although it a Christian organization, works toward justice with all faiths and peoples around the world.
As followers of Christ, we should be bridge builders, peace-makers, and action movers of standing up against injustice around the world… and not just for those who believe as we do.
Most of us know this. But my prayer for myself, and for the rest of us, is that we don’t just read and say, “Oh how awful” and go back to our manicured lawns, but that we find a way to work with all organizations that help bring freedom and hope.
These stories are horribly heartbreaking and I grieve for them and all others who face tyranny. May the light of Christ shine on us all. May we not discriminate in our efforts to end discrimination.

Thanks for refrencing Myanmar! Not enough people are aware of this amzing movement. It makes me so incredably sad that America, and espically American Christians that claim to so focused on the oppresion of others in the world have not rallied around the democratic movements. Thanks buddy!
well said and acted :)
Yes, I too have wrung my hands.
And already I feel better!
